Brittany Webster is Feeding Peoples Soul and Styling Their Clothes!

Updated: Jan 29, 2022

When I said, "Brittany Webster is Feeding Peoples Souls and Styling Their Clothes," I meant it! She has been running "Simply Brittany Edibles" for almost six years and legally since 2018 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Her sweets are well-known in the neighborhood. Especially her adult edibles, if you catch my drift. I have actually had the pleasure of tasting both, and it is her strawberry crunch cake for me! It is to die for, literally! Over the last few years, she has also tapped into modeling, and now she has added styling to the list via her new

business called "B Unique Styling."

As you can seeshe has not been letting up, and that is not it! She is currently finishing her degree in General Studies at Oakland Community college. After this semester, she only has two classes left before she graduates. Then, she plans on returning to complete her bachelor's in Accounting or Engineering. Unfortunately, her journey did not start off this way. Brittany expressed, "I was born and raised in Mount Clemens by my mother. At the age of 14, I went into the foster care system." She shared that her mother faced some hardships with drugs. However, she was an amazing mother when she was clean. Sadly, her mother is no longer with us, but "she is no longer hurting or suffering," Brittany said.

"sometimes you have to be put through certain things so you can become who you are supposed to become," she said.

She further explained that even though it was a challenging time. Still, she was so thankful for the experiences in her childhood, of course, "In the moment, I was very angry, and I tried to hurt myself before because I hated it, but that is why I have such a strong relationship with God now." She felt strongly that God puts you through specific situations in life for a reason because "sometimes you have to be put through certain things so you can become who you are supposed to become," she said. She continued by stating, "Everything I have been through has made me into who I am. I feel like I am a survivor."

Afterward, we went on to discuss why entrepreneurship? "I have always hated working for other people. I am not working to make someone else rich. Yes, being an entrepreneur is not easy, and it is not guaranteed," she said. Yet, Brittany questioned what is easy or guaranteed in this world anyways. For her, the flexibility, freedom, peace, and time that it provided her to spend with her fiancée was worth more than any amount of money. I proceeded by asking Brittany what her first lesson in running her own business was; she said, "keeping my books in order and creating a price margin that did not short myself." Following, we touched on the infamous "Each One, Teach One" saying, and she communicated, "I want everyone to win, but there are limitations to it. If it is common knowledge, then yeah, teach the next person in line, but if I had to spend hours or days learning something. Then, it comes with a price tag."

We concluded our interview by discussing Brittany's upcoming plans. She conveyed that she eventually wants to open up a location for Simply Brittany Edibles while continuing her styling business (B Unique) and building her brand as a content creator. She finished off by saying, "Every day you wake up is another day that you keep going— God is not done with you yet. I know that the suicide and depression rate is high right now. But if he woke you up, then you have a purpose for that day." Overall, I would like to thank Brittany personally for her willingness to be vulnerable about her past, present, and future with me during our interview. Keep TILTING your crown, QUEEN, and congratulations on your engagement! #WISHING #YOU #CONTINUED #SUCCESS
